116822709128251450 Vintage Marshall Master Pa 100 Amplifier 1970 Rare Green Tolex Model 2003 Look

Up for bids is a rather rare Vintage Marshall Master PA 100 4 channel tube amplifier. This is a rack style in a square box cabinet with the dark green tolex. It was built in 1970 with 5-5-70 on the chassis inspection tag. Model 2003 with serial # 43271. I hate to let this rare find go, but I need to thin my collection and make room for others. I have another one of these, but this is the only green tolex one I have seen in this fine condition. These don't come around very often, hard to find in collector shape. I have $2750.00 into this amp, and am letting it go for less. The amp has been tested for hours and works and sounds good with a minor glitch. It doesn't have a lot of unwanted noise, but has a intermittent random interference that last about 3-5 seconds when operating. It comes and goes every so often. Sounds like a bad instrument cord. My thoughts are it may be a failing can capacitor. The amp is all original with the exception of maybe the echo jack was replaced. Someone added a jack that was wired into the circuit board for some reason? I removed it and didn't get around to putting a chrome hole plug in the front panel. See the pics of the right front panel between 3rd and 4th channel volume knobs. None of the original circuitry was affected with the removed mod, and all the red dye is still intact other then the echo socket jack. I am really not sure what they did or were trying to do with the extra jack. All the transformers and other components are original. As I stated the amp works, but should be looked over by a tech. I do some repairs, but don't have the knowledge and equipment to mess with this one. I would recommend the output be biased also. There is a internal bias pot. If you have questions, please ask. I think this would be a easy fix to get this in top shape. I purchased this amp years ago from a guy in the UK, and it has been just sitting in my collection. I use my other PA 100 with no troubles and just love it. This amp has 2 sylvania 12AX7A/ECC83, and 2 unmarked USA 12AX7A preamp tubes. The power section has Mullard FX2 B5E3, FX3 B4E4, FX2 B2G5, FX4 B7E3 Mullard tubes. One center pin is broke on one power tube, but still functions as it should. The amp has voltage and ohm selectors switches on the back side along with the original model, serial, and warning tags. The tolex is in great shape with a few minor scuffs or scratches. Original plastic grey feet are intact. The VU meter works. The face panel and control knobs are exceptionally clean, and only needing a chrome hole plug for the removed jack mod. The controls are as follows left to right - Presence, Bass, Middle, Treble, Master Volume, Tone 1, Tone 2, Tone 3, Tone 4,  Lower left to right - 2 output jacks, mini Bulgin mains socket, mains on-off switch, mains fuse, Standby switch, H.T. fuse, Echo socket jack, 4 input jacks along with 4 volume controls. I will include a mini Bulgin mains power cord with a 220V plug end. You can change the plug to a US 110V if you don't have a step up transformer. You can also get a mini socket plug on auction and make up a new 110V cord. Any question, message me through Ebay. This amp is heavy. I am setting a fixed rate of $80.00 to securely pack and shipped UPS ground to the lower 48 States. It will be custom double boxed with bubble wrap. If you want it insured, let me know. Please allow 3-5 days handling time after payment. Payment by Paypal within 3 days of auctions end.  Don't let this one go, there aren't many left like it. You can tube this amp to your preference and get that vintage Marshall tone with the master volume option. Not only a PA amp, but makes a great guitar amp as well. It's like a 20, 50, 100 Watt all in one.  Please check out my other auctions with more Marshall items.
I forgot to mention the White Marshall logo is missing on the front panel. It was that way when I bought it and I never got around to replacing it. It takes a white logo in 1970.
All you watchers out there, make me a reasonable offer. I'm willing to deal on this to complete another vintage collectible purchase.
