Shipping Policy

Shipping Policy for USA Customers:

Free Shipping: If you are located within the lower 48 intercontinental United States, most orders over $99.00 will ship for FREE with the following exceptions.
Items marked as "Oversized" or "Dropship"
WILL NOT ship for free. Items shipping to locations outside
the USA lower 48 states such as Alaska, Hawaii, Perto Rico,
or any international location WILL NOT ship for free.

Oversized or Dropship Items: Items marked as "Oversized"
or "Dropship" are not eligible for free shipping. Please check
the eBay shipping calculator for shipping costs on these items.

Handling Time: Please be aware that it may take 1-2 business days to prepare
an item for shipping. You will receive any shipping information
via email when the item ships.

Shipping Methods: The shipping method shall be determined at the discretion of The Music Den. Shipping will be by UPS Ground, USPS First Class, or USPS Priority Mail depending on the package weight and dimensions.

USA Shipping Addresses: The Music Den will only ship to the address shown on the Paypal payment.

Taxes: 7% sales tax will be applied for New Jersey customers.

Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico: Orders to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico and other USA locations outside the lower 48 states are not eligible for free shipping and the shipping rates shown in the eBay shipping calculator do not apply. Shipping Costs: The shipping costs for International Orders are determined by the weight and dimensions of the item, the shipping method, and the destination. Please check the eBay shipping calculator for this listing for information on shipping costs to your country.

Shipping Methods:There are three options for shipping methods for International
Orders: USPS First Class International, USPS Priority International,
and USPS Express International. These different methods are
explained in the table below.

Handling Time: Please be aware that it may take 1-2 business days to prepare an item for shipping. You will receive any shipping information via email when the item ships.

International Shipping Addresses: We only accept Paypal for all international sales and we will only ship to the address used for the Paypal payment.

Countries That Prohibit or Restrict the Mailing of Musical Instruments or Accessories: Italy, Iran, Turkmenistan, and San Marino. We apologize to customers from these countries, but the United States Postal Service has informed us that these countries restrict the mailing of musical instruments and accessories. Orders from these countries will be canceled and refunded.

Countries That Prohibit or Restrict the Mailing of Sheet Music: Vietnam, Slovak Republic (Slovakia), Czech Republic, and Bulgaria. We apologize to customers from these countries, but the United States Postal Service has informed us that these countries restrict the mailing of sheet music. Orders for sheet music from these countries will be canceled and refunded.

Customs: The customer is responsible for all customs and shipping costs. Under no circumstances will we mark packages as "gift" or in any misleading way to avoid customs costs.

Explanation Of The Different Shipping Methods For International Customers:

USPS First Class Mail International


First Class is the most popular and least expensive way to ship small items internationally. Items usually ship in an envelope or small box. There is no tracking available for First Class. Items may take two weeks or more to arrive. We only offer First Class for items under $25.00 USD.

USPS Priority Mail International


Priority is less expensive than Express, but it takes longer to arrive. Once they are shipped, most items arrive in 6-10 days. Delivery confirmation is available.

USPS Express Mail International


Express is the fastest way to send something internationally. Once they are shipped, most items arrive in 3-5 days. Delivery confirmation is available.

30 Day Return Policy

eBay customers get up to 30 days from the date that the item is shipped from our warehouse to return an item.

To receive a refund for an item purchased from The Music Den via the internet, you must notify us within 30 days of the date that the item was shipped from our warehouse. You will receive instructions and an Return Authorization (RA) number which must be visible on the outside of the shipping boxes when you ship the items back. Any items shipped back without an RA will be refused. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. Once an RA has been issued, ship the items immediately. Any items not received by the Music Den within 14 days of issuing an RA will unreturnable. Any items returned must be in like new condition with the original packaging or else they will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Note: The following item types are not returnable: Sheet Music, Software, Strings, Reeds, Drumsticks, Picks, Harmonicas, and Care Kits.

Warranties

USA Customers - Unless stated otherwise in the listing all of our items are new and include any applicable manufacturer warranties. (Items marked as used do not have warranties.) For more specific details about your warranty please visit the manufacturer's website. Most manufacturer warranties are what are called "Limited Lifetime Warranties" which are not really warranties at all, but are more like guarantees that the items do not have any manufacturing defects. Unlike real warranties, Limited Lifetime Warranties do not include service plans. That means that if your item stops working at some point, it might not be covered by the manufacturer. That's why The Music Den is proud to offer USA customers the opportunity to purchase a warranty with a service plan though the offer below.

International Customers - Unfortunately most manufacturer warranties will not apply for international customers. However, international customers are eligible to purchase a warranty service plan through the offer below.

• Standard Service Plan
  Purchase a "Standard Service Plan" if your product does not come with an existing manufacturer or seller's Service Plan. Your one-year N.E.W. Service Plan coverage will begin 30 days after the end date of your eBay auction or your Buy It Now date.



• Extended Service Plan
  Purchase an "Extended Service Plan" if your product comes with a manufacturer or seller's Service Plan. You can extend a 90-day, 6-month, or 1-year manufacturer or seller's Service Plan.

Note: Under a N.E.W. service plan, if service is required for an item purchased by an international customer the item would have to be shipped to a N.E.W. service center located in the USA, Canada, or Mexico for servicing.
